Bronze Statue of Lord Toshinaga Maeda
The Takaoka Chamber of Commerce and Industry created this statue (along with the base by the Rotary Club of Takaoka Manyo) in commemoration of 400 years since the town was established. The statue depicts Maeda pointing a folded fan towards Takaoka Kojo Park (the site of Takaoka Castle), as if instructing his subordinates. The statue is surrounded by cobblestones which were used in the wall of Takaoka Castle.
